Community Education
As part of our mission for care, Apex Rehabilitation has reviewed medical conditions of people admitted to our facility for both short term rehab and long term care. Some of these patients have been admitted for preventable medical conditions.
The staff at Apex Rehabilitation and Healthcare has put together a FREE educational series of programs where our medical professionals can educate those who live in our community.
Residents at Apex enjoy our new virtual rehabilitation equipment which encourages them to exercise longer and offers them an opportunity to rebuild greater endurance.
The omnicycle has a special motorized system that senses the amount of help needed to exercise, enabling those with physical limitations to participate. The omnicycle provides the resident with continuous feedback so they're constantly aware of their performance.
We are proud to offer a new technology within our Rehabilitation Department, Accelerated Care Plus. This new virtual rehabilitation program enables our residents participating to use special exercises and activities in an interactive manner to promote greater independence and quality of life.
